The new Cadillac XT4 effectively uses the brand's traditional technological edge, and can thus offer the entire crew a luxurious SUV conveying excellent response and the enjoyment of refined driving. Behind the XT4's dynamic combination of driving ability and comfort is a new turbocharged unit and an active sports suspension system (optional equipment) with electronic damper control and precise, electronically calibrated steering, as well as a dual-clutch all-wheel drive (AWD) system (optional equipment washing).
Exclusive architecture and impressive design
The Cadillac XT4 is typical of sophisticated LED light technology at the front and rear with dipped and main LED headlights and a blade-shaped LED strip of daytime running lights. Cadillac's vertical L-shaped light signature is stretched horizontally, emphasizing the XT4's width and confident stance. The standard LED taillights on the Luxury and Premium Luxury versions protect the traditional red covers, while the Sport version features neutrally tinted (clear) covers matching the generally darker color shades of the car's exterior.

Behind the agile driving dynamics of the Cadillac XT4 is the brand new architecture of a compact SUV, capable of transforming the performance of the entire drive system into the enjoyment of a sporty and refined drive. The immediate response of the steering mechanism to instructions from the steering wheel brings a more intense feeling of connection with the road. This is a feature that contributes to the driver's confidence behind the wheel and gives the XT4 a sporty character.
ROBUST CHASSIS AND DIRECT STEERING SYSTEM
The robust and rigid chassis boasts a relatively low weight thanks to a high proportion of pressed parts made of high-strength steel. The firmness of the chassis allows for an extremely wide range of tuning of the suspension and suspension system for the best possible feedback for the driver and an overall feeling of solidity. The electric power steering with a variable effect contributes significantly to the sporty and nimble character of the XT4's driving dynamics.

SUPERCHARGED POWER
All versions of the Cadillac XT4 are powered by an all-new 2.0-liter Turbo unit, utilizing cutting-edge valvetrain technology for fuel economy and instantly available power at all revs. The engine has a maximum output of 237 horsepower (according to SAE) and a torque of 350 Nm; estimated fuel consumption (according to the EPA) is 9.8 l/100 km in the city, or 7.8 l/100 km outside the city (FWD version), so the car boasts an exemplary balance of driving ability and economy at the very top of premium compact SUVs.

ELECTRO-HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM
The XT4 is the first Cadillac to use a state-of-the-art electro-hydraulic braking system. This system, with a compact electric motor, replaces the traditional vacuum brake booster design and offers braking power on demand for the best possible braking performance. It also helps to reduce XT4 consumption by limiting the passive load on the combustion engine.
Safety
INTELLIGENT ALL WHEEL DRIVE SYSTEM
The all-wheel drive system (AWD) with a pair of clutches (optional equipment) independently distributes the torque to the individual wheels for optimal vehicle control. It improves handling on dry roads and when passing corners, but at the same time it also ensures excellent handling in wet conditions, on muddy roads or in snow and ice conditions. And with the standard 'Driver Mode Select', rear-wheel drive can be completely disengaged to reduce fuel consumption.
